PURPOSE:To shorten the length from the windward to the leeward of an air conditioner by defining the interior of an air conditioning case into the upper and lower wind paths respectively provided with a heater core and an evaporator to dispose a blower downstream of both wind paths. CONSTITUTION:This air conditioning unit 1 is constituted from an air conditioning case 2 and a blower case 3 respectively made of synthetic resin. The interior of the air conditioning case 2 is divided into upper and lower wind paths 2a, 2b by a partition wall 2c, the upper wind path 2a being provided with a heater core 4 and the lower wind path 2b an evaporator 5 with refrigerating cycle. Then, the heater core 4 and the evaporator 5 are inclined approximately 15 deg. to the horizontal direction. And a distributing chamber 2e provided with a temperature regulating damper 9 for changing mixing of air from the respective wind paths 2a, 2b to regulate temperature is provided downstream of the upper and lower wind paths 2a, 2b, and an intake port 3a of a blower case 3 is opened to the distributing chamber 2e. |
