摘要 <p>Commercial aq. antacid gel cake of Mg(OH)2 and/or Al(OH)3 (antacid is 25-35% of gel cake) as a stiff putty-like non-flowing bulk mass has its viscosity lowered to give a flowable consistency by adding 0.1-4% of a fluidising agent (I). The (I) is acacia, citric acid, Na citrate, Na laurylsulphate or Na dioctylsulphosuccinate. Prods. are useful for treating gastric hyperacidity, dyspepsia, peptic ulcers, constipation, etc. The small amt. of (I) causes a marked viscosity redn., so that the material can be pumped through conduits, delivered to a spray dried, directly bottled etc. without addn. of water. Highly concd. suspensions may be prepd.</p>
