PURPOSE:To block static electricity generated in travelling from transmission to a car body by constituting a portion of a bead portion contacting a rim from rubber compound having inherent volume resistivity exceeding a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire E is constituted of a pair of right and left bead portions 10, a pair of right and left side wall portions 20 connected to the bead portions 10 and a tread portion 30 located between the side wall portions 20. In this case, members directly contacting a rim R in the bead portion 10, i.e. rim cushion rubber 70 and chamfer 80 are composed of rubber compound having inherent volume resistivity larger than 10<10>OMEGAcm. And said rubber compound is made of vulcanizable rubber compound containing for example 100pts.wt. of only natural rubber, only diene system synthetic rubber or blended rubber of both, 20-150pts.wt. of inorganic filler, 20 or less weight part of carbon black and 1-10pts.wt. of sulfer. |
