发明名称 SUSPENSION SYSTEM CONTROLLING UNIT FOR VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent front wheels from slippage by judging the presence of slip of wheels to increase the damping force of a damper for a front wheel suspension system and reduce same for a rear wheel suspension system when the slippage takes place and the acceleration condition is judged to be present. CONSTITUTION:In running of a vehicle, the rotational speed of front and rear wheels is detected by a rotation sensor 51, and whether or not the difference between both rotational speed is larger than a specified value is judged in a low mu road judging means (slip judging means) 52. When said difference is larger than the specified value, the slip is judged to take place, i.e. the vehicle is judged to be travelling on the low mu road (road having small coefficient mu of friction between timer and road) so that the ON signal output is generated. On the other hand, acceleration condition is judged from the signal of an acceleration sensor 54 by an acceleration condition judging means 55. And when the acceleration condition is judged to be true, the ON signal output is generated to a damper controlling means 56 according to the output signal of said means 52 and AND so that the damping force of a damper is increased.
