<p>A mowing machine comprises cutting members (6) which are rotatable about upwardly extending axes (7). The members (6) are drivable via a change-speed mechanism (33) which enables their speed of rotation to be adjusted, for example to suit the characteristics of the crop being mown. The machine also has a drivable crushing member (52) which is driven via a mechanism (43) having replaceable gear wheels (45, 46) so that the speed of the crushing member may be adjusted.</p> |
