PURPOSE:To improve an assembling property and to reduce cost, in an electrostatic air purifier, by providing a plurality of ionization electrodes and opposed electrodes while mounting the resistor connected to the electric connection part of an elastomer at every ionization electrode. CONSTITUTION:An ionization electrode 1 has engagement parts 7 and one of them is hooked with a projection part 9 while a resistor 10 is fixed by a leaf spring 12 having a notch part 11 formed thereto and the engagement part 7 is hooked with the above mentioned notch part 11 to hold the ionization electrode 1 and the other engagement part 7 is fixed to the electric contact 14 connected to a high voltage power source 13. In this case, the resistor 10, the leaf spring 12 and the electric contact 14 are inserted into a recessed part 15 and integrated therewith by the molding of a resin 16 and, at the same time, the leaf spring 12 and a part of the electric contact 14 are also molded to act as an elastomer. By this structure, tension force is applied to the ionization electrode through the leaf spring 12 to reduce the number of assembling processes and parts. Furthermore, a dust-containing air stream enters from an air suction port 5 and the dust therein is collected by the opposed electrode 2.
