PURPOSE:To manufacture a sheet for corrosion protection which is flexible and has an excellent mechanical strength, heat insulation and close adherence by drawing a foamed cross-linking polyolefin sheet which is mixed with linear low density polyethylene and has an apparent density of 0.5-0.05kg/m<3>. CONSTITUTION:After polyolefin which had been mixed with linear low-density polyethylene resin was cross-linked by combining with a cross-linking agent, it is heated to become a foamed substance with an apparent density of 0.5- 0.05kg/m<3> and the resulting cross-linking foamed sheet is cold or hot drawn uniaxially or biaxially at drawing magnification of 150-350%. A foamed sheet for corrosion protection which is light, flexible, excellent in mechanical strength, anticorrosive, etc. is obtained. It is suitable for pipe lining, etc. An adhesive layer 2 may be provided on the reverse side of the foamed sheet. |
