PURPOSE:To obtain a superior image good in continuous gradation by incorporating a toner and the reaction product between an itaconic anhydride copolymer and an amino compd. in a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A nonaqueous solvent having an electric resistivity of >=10<9>OMEGA.cm and a dielectric constant of <=3.5 incorporates a toner made chiefly of a resin, and the reaction product between an itaconic anhydride copolymer having repeating units each represented by formulae I and II, and an amino compd. of formula III. In formulae I , II, and III, L is -COO-, -OCO-, -CH2OCO-, or -O-; X is a >5C hydrocarbon group, such as alkyl, alkenyl, arlkyl, or aryl; Y1, Y2 are each H or alkyl; and R1, R2 are each H, an aliphatic group, such as alkyl, alkenyl, or an alicyclic hydrocarbon group, or aromatic, or heterocyclic group, and R1 and R2 may form a ring together with other carbon atoms and/or hetero atoms. |
