PURPOSE:To facilitate and ensure the mounting of a clip onto a car body and a molding main body by making the clip adhere to the molding main body and mounting a clip that is hooked on a car body panel at the tip section. CONSTITUTION:When the spin weld section 6 of a first clip 2a is press-contacted in the circular recess 13 of a molding main body 10 while it is being rotated, a projection 9 is detected and the clip 2a is made to adhere to the same main body 10. Then, when a second clip 2b is mounted on this clip 2a, a pedestral section 7 is inserted in a hollow section 16 and a hook section 8 is inserted in a groove section 17 and engaged with an engagement section 18. A stopper 14 is engaged with an engagement section 20 and the clip 2b is hooked at the tip section of the clip 2a. Such a constructed molding clip is fit to the fitting hole of a car body panel. Since the hook section 19 of the clip 2b is formed over all circumference, the clip 2a can be mounted independently of its stop position. |
