ADJUSTMENT OF WATER QUALITY OF SUPPLY WATER OF VARIABLE PRESSURE OPERATION UNIT

PURPOSE:To effectively adjust the water quality of supply water by preventing the change in water quality due to drain recovery, by injecting a chemical agent for controlling water quality in the water separator drain piping in a variable pressure operation unit. CONSTITUTION:A variable pressure operation unit is constituted of an injection line 10 of ammonia for adjusting pH, an ammonia injection pump 11 and an electric conductivity detection line 12 for controlling the injection amount of the ammonia injection pump 11. The electric conductivity of pH lowered drain water separated by a water separator 7 is detected by an electric conductivity meter arranged prior to entering a degassifier 3 and the injection amount of ammonia is controlled from the difference with electric conductivity corresponding to a pH limit value to maintain water quality of drain water within a control value. This method adjusts the water quality of water separator drain at the time of the low load operation of the variable pressure operation unit and maintains the same within a limit value.
