READER AND COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To obtain a reader and copying machine not requiring skill but excellent in operability to be simply operated by anybody by giving an indication of an original reading position to an outer case of the reader and copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A window 3 of a reading section 1 is pressed to a position of an original 2 desired to be read and the reading section 1 is moved in parallel in the arrow A by a hand while fixing the original by another hand. The indication 18 of a range or position reading the original 2 is provided to the lower side face of the case 9. Thus, the range of the original 2 to be read through the window provided at the bottom of the case 9 is known and the work pressing the window of the reader 1 onto the read start position of the original 2 is conducted easily at the start of reading.
