PURPOSE:To transmit own picture information to another facsimile equipment without limiting the amount of communication by using a picture signal exchanged between the 1st and 2nd coding/decoding means as a non-coding raster scanning picture signal. CONSTITUTION:An output picture signal from a computer 15 including raster scanning information and character coding information is fed to the 2nd coding/ decoding circuit 21 via an interface circuit 22. The circuit 21 decodes the output picture signal from the computer 15 into a non-coding raster scanning picture signal sequentially and outputs it. The output picture signal is inputted to the 1st coding/decoding circuit 20 via a selection circuit 27. The switch in the inside of the circuit 20 is controlled for facsimile equipments 14, 19 according to the common coding system, the input non-coding information is coded and transmitted to the facsimile equipment 19 via a modulation/demodulation circuit 23 and a line control circuit 24.
