Analogue/digital converter having a delay line arrangement which is provided along its length with a number of taps and both ends are supplied with auxiliary signals having the same signal shape from an auxiliary signal source. A phase difference between the two opposite auxiliary signals on the delay line arrangement is modulated in accordance with the analogue signal change by means of a controllable phase changing means under the control of the analogue signal to be converted. The two opposite auxiliary signals at the individual tapping points are examined to see whether they are equal or unequal by tap detectors connected to the individual taps. With this arrangement the quantisation pattern can be picked up at the outputs of all the tap detectors. <IMAGE> |
