PURPOSE:To form stable, high quality pictures by maintaining concentration of developer toner on developing and cleaning roll constant only placing a fixed quantity of magnetic carrier on the developing and cleaning roll and without using an agitating roll etc. CONSTITUTION:After sticking the magnetic carrier 23 on the developing and cleaning roll 20, magnetic toner 24 is put in. Sufficient cleaning capacity is obtained by the magnetic carrier 23 adhered on the developing and cleaning roll 20. As only a fixed quantity of the magnetic carrier 23 is present on the developing and cleaning roll 20, concentration of the developer toner on the developing and cleaning roll 20 is maintained constant at all times even if there is no scraper or agitating roll. Thus, a picture forming device having high cleaning capacity and forms stable high quality pictures without causing lowering of picture density when making many copies can be obtained. |
