PURPOSE:To simplify an installation apparatus and permit cost cut by reducing the weight of a blade by forming the blade from foamed resin and permitting the formation of the blade from a single plate and reducing the dimension and the total weight due to the reduction of the output of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A ceiling fan body 1 is installed onto a ceiling surface 3 by a fitting apparatus 2. The blade 4 made of foamed resin is installed onto the ceiling fan body 1. With such constitution, the weight of the blade 4 reduces in inverse proportion to the foaming factor of the resin. Since the blade 4 is formed of foamed resin, the weight of the blade 4 is reduced, and the reduction of dimension and weight of the motor and cost cut due to the reduction of the output of the motor is permitted by reducing the weight of the blade. Further, the simple installation apparatus 2 can be obtained and installation is facilitated because of the reduction of the total weight.
