PURPOSE:To eliminate a smoothing circuit from a hard copy operating circuit, and to make a system small-sized by adding a screen memory adapted to a hard copy. CONSTITUTION:A titled system is provided with a screen memroy 14 for storing a picture signal for a hard copy which is sent out of a picture signal generating part 1 and can be compressed. The picture signal written in this memory 14 is copied by a hard copy device through a printer control part 10. Also, this written picture signal is read out every other one from the memory 14 by a control signal of a screen memory compressing part 9, and written as a compressed picture signal in a CRT monitor outputting screen memory 5 by a W signal and an address of the control part 9. In this regard, this compression is compressed to a prescribed picture number dot corresponding to a resolution of a display 8. The picture signal of this memory 5 is displayed on the display 8 through a P/S circuit 6 and a video generator 7.
