PURPOSE:To obviate the necessity of a power limiter valve and a pilot pressure source by installing an auxiliary piston through the first spring at the edge part on the opposite side of the pilot piston of a ring spool. CONSTITUTION:Onto the opposite edge of the pilot piston 6 of a ring spool 5, an auxiliary piston 8 is installed through the first spring 7. The second spring 9 is installed onto the opposite side of the first spring 7 of the auxiliary piston 8. The operation surface 10 onto which the discharge pressure P2 of a variable displacement pump 1 acts is installed onto the outer periphery of the auxiliary piston 8. The movement of the ring spool 5 is controlled with respect to an instruction pressure P1 by the first spring 7. The first spring 7 is adjusted by the second spring 9 and the discharge pressure P2 of the operation surface 10.
