摘要 |
PURPOSE:To eliminate danger such as breaking of wires and so forth and prevent heat from invading into the super low temperature unit by providing a search coil in a quenching detector in a constant temperature unit outside a cryostat containing the said coil. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive coil is contained in a cryostat such as a liquid helium container and so forth and connected with a DC power source 1. A search coil 5 detecting an induced magnetic field cause by the superconductive coil 2 is disposed outside the cryostat 3, the constant temperature unit for a superconductive magnet. One end of a lead wire 6 is connected with the both ends of the search coil 5 and the other end is connected with a quenching detector 7. The quenching detector 7 is supplied with a voltage E1 generated across the superconductive coil 2 and a E2 generated across the search coil 5 caused by the induced magnetic field of the superconducting coil 2 to detect quenching. |
