<p>PURPOSE:To produce easily touch panels with high yield and at low cost by forming a resin film on a transparent conduction film provided on the rear side of a substrate prior to a pattering process using an etching solution of a detection electrode and making said resin film double functions for protection of the etching solution and the insulation and protection of a final product. CONSTITUTION:The processes shown in figures (a)-(d) are equal to conventional examples. As shown in (e), a resin film 31 is formed on an ITO film 23 (equivalent to a clamp electrode) provided on the rear side of a substrate. The film 31 functions to protect the film 23 from an etching solution in the next etching process as well as to insulate and protect a final product. In such a way, it is possible to solve a conventional problem where a resist pattern is dissolved by the leakage of the photoresist since said resin film 31 is used in place of the conventional photoresist. In addition, the application of the resin film that is so far needed can be omitted in the final process. This improves the production yield of touch panels with reduction of cost.</p> |
