PURPOSE:To obtain the cheap inner box of a cooking appliance, which can be manufactured efficiently and at the same time the number of parts of which is small, by a structure wherein the joining portion between a front and a rear plates and a cylindrical shell part are formed at the position recessed from the main surface of the front and the rear plates toward the cylindrical shell part side so as to locate the vicinity of the joining portion between the front and the rear plates and the cylindrical shell part toward the cylindrical shell part side from the tip of bent pieces. CONSTITUTION:Curling margin 16, 11A, 11B and 11C are formed along the rear end edges of a top plate 8 and a shell plate 9. A plurality of stretched-out portions 20 are formed in each curling margin. On the other hand, a bent piece 57a extending in the direction of a cylindrical shell part 6 is formed along the periphery of the rear plate 57. In addition, a groove 58, which dents from the main surface 57b of the rear plate 57 toward the direction of the top plate 8 and the shell plate 9, both of which consist of the cylindrical shell part, is provided on the rear plate 57. Further, upright shaved pieces, each of which is to join to the stretched-out portion 20 provided in each curled lug of the top plate 8 and of the shell plate 9, are provided in the groove 58. Due to the structure as mentioned above, the cheap inner box of a cooking appliance, which can be manufactured efficiently and the number of parts of which is small, can be made. |
