PURPOSE:To permit to secure a receiving device to a tube simply and surely and minimize a head loss by a method wherein the cleaning member receiving device is connected detachably to the tube through a joint connecting the device through a radial protuberance while both of the inner diameters of the joint and the receiving device are designed so as to be larger than the inner diameter of the tube. CONSTITUTION:The tube 2 is projected out of a tube plate 3 by a length L and the end thereof is bent outward to form a tube side joint while the receiving device 5 is equipped with an annular protuberance 50, having a configuration to mesh with the tube side protuberance, at the inner periphery of the end of tube side to form a receiving device side joint. The sectional configuration of the protuberance 50 is a semi-circle, for example, which facilitates insertion by pushing. In order to ensure the connection of the joint, a flange type annular protuberance 53 is provided at the inside of the annular protuberance 50. The cleaning member receiving device is provided with small holes 51, 52 for passing fluid. According to this method, the receiving device 5 may be connected to both ends of the tube 2 surely by one touch substantially and the head loss may be minimized since the inner diameters of the joint and the receiving device 5 are either the same as or larger than the tube 2. |
