PURPOSE:To prevent wear by providing a slider incorporated with an auxiliary magnetic pole, projected by a prescribed size from a face of the auxiliary magnetic pole opposing to a recording medium, in contact with the recording medium and having a lubricating operation so as to decrease the wear resistance between the both while adopting the system keeping a gap between the recording medium and the auxiliary magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A gap G is kept constant by providing incorporatedly the slider 9 having a sliding face 8 projected by a size (d) from a medium opposing face 7 of the auxiliary magnetic pole 3 in contact with the recording medium 2 to both sides of the auxiliary magnetic pole 3. The slider 11 is formed by a solid lubricant so as to provide lubrication and a solid impregnated with a lubricant oil such as oil-bearing metal or oil-bearing plastic is used as the solid lubricant. Since the sliding face 12 of the slider 11 having the lubrication like this contacts the recording medium 2, the wear resistance between the both is decreased and damage due to wear is prevented for the both and the service life is extended. Since a protection film is formed by the oil from the slider 11, the recording medium 2 is not damaged even if the auxiliary magnetic pole 3 contacts therewith. |
