PURPOSE:To utilize effectively a space of a control sheet by discriminating the propriety of transmission of picture information of a text describing area in response to the described discriminating information and selecting and transmitting the picture information of the text describing area when it is discriminated as necessary as the result of discrimination. CONSTITUTION:When the picture information of a text describing area 2 of the control sheet is transmitted, the describing column A of the discrimination information provided to the transmission control information describing area 1 is smeared in black. Then the control sheet is set to an original platen 3 while being overlapped on the original, then the control sheet operating switch of the control section 8 is turned on and the transmission button is operated. Then the control sheet is carried by a carrying device 5, a read section 6 is read and the transmission control information and the picture information of the area 2 are stored in a storage section 82 of the control section 8 respectively. Then the control section 8 discriminates the address information from the transmission control information stored in the storage section 82, calls the transmission party with a transmission section 7, and a discrimination circuit 83 discriminate the necessity of the transmission of the picture information of the area 2 from the discrimination information.
