New 5-cyano-prostacyclin derivatives and their manufacture and use. Novel 5-cyano-prostacyclin derivatives of the general formula I < IMG > (I) in which R1 represents -OR2 or -NHR3, R2 being H, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl or a heterocycle and R3 being an acid group, H, optionally substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl or a heterocycle, B represents C1-C10-alkylene, W represents free or functionally modified -CHOH- or -C(CH)OH-, R4 represents free or functionally modified OH, R5, R6, R7 and R8 each represents H, C1-C5-alkyl or -OMe and R9 represents C1-C5-alkyl) and, when R2 is H, salts thereof with bases and the manufacture of such compounds. The 5-cyano-prostacyclin derivatives and salts thereof have inter alia a hypotensive and bronchodilative action and may accordingly be made up into pharmaceutical preparations with suitable carriers.
