PURPOSE:To facilitate the easy processing to utilize the resources obtained by an OS of a virtual computer with high efficiency and an easy job for investigation of a fault due to the generation of an error, etc., by transmitting a busy information and a busy state end information to the virtual computer. CONSTITUTION:A CP7 transfers a busy information BUSY and a busy state end information END to a virtual computer from a real input/output system. Then the virtual computer recognizes these information. In other words, the virtual computer receives the END after the BUSY and delivers again a start I/O request together with a command to indicate the processing to be carried out by a high-speed VM mechanism 8. In this case, the mechanism 8 produces newly a converted channel control word 10. Then the CP7 delivers a conversion start I/O to a channel 2. Therefore the mechanism 8 produces a converted channel control error each time. This eliminates a gap between the state of an input/output system recognized by an OS on the virtual computer and the actual state of the input/output system. |
