PURPOSE:A melt spinning pack, obtained by forming fixed films prepared by curing a modified silicone on the respective surfaces of a plate or netlike filter medium and granular filter medium, useful for filtration members for molten polymers, and capable of preventing broken yarns during spinning and deterioration in yarn quality. CONSTITUTION:A melt spinning pack, obtained by packing a plate and netlike filter material and a granular filter medium therein, and applying and forming cured fixed films of a modified silicone, e.g. methylhydrogensilicone, on the surfaces of the above-mentioned filter material and the above-mentioned filter medium in an amount of 0.01-1.0wt% for the filter material and 0.05-0.5wt% for the filter medium. USE:Suitable for melt spinning of thermoplastic synthetic polymers, e.g. polyamide or polyester, easily decomposable at relatively high temperatures.
