PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic disk recording medium having a sector format capable of using data normally read out at least by constituting a sector of data, a pre-indicator and a post-indicator. CONSTITUTION:A sector 1 is positioned subsequently to an index signal I outputted one time at every one rotation of a flexible disk. Assuming that a magnetic head starts reading actions at a point C, a pre-indicator FiD1 cannot be read out, and data Data 1 can be read out. At this point the information showing what part the data Data 1 belongs to cannot be obtained. As the disk rotates, a post-indicator BiD1 can be read out; therefore the sector to which the data Data 1 belongs can be found. The sector 1 can be read out at the point C without latency time. |
