PURPOSE:To set easily a machine number of an adaptor, and also to confirm exactly the result by providing a register corresponding to an input/output adaptor, on an information processing device. CONSTITUTION:When a control program iPL of a processing device 1 is executed, each machine number of adaptors 21-2n is written in adaptor machine number setting registers 61-6n by a writing circuit 7. Thereafter, in an input/output operation, when address information for selecting an input/output device is loaded on an address bus 10, it is compared with the contents of the adaptor machine number setting registers 61-6n by comparing circuits 81-8n, and by an output of the comparing circuit which has coincided, a gate (one gate among 91-9n) of the corresponding adaptor is opened, and a data on a data bus 11 is sent to the input/output device through this gate. |
