<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy layout of a design and sure assurance of input by displaying a reference line for layout of a display. CONSTITUTION:An operator calls out the software for generating a reference line by a keyboard 3 and inputs the value for the coordinates Xi, Yi of the start point position by pushing the display frame on the menu sheet provided on the panel face of a digitizer 2 using an electronic pen of the digitizer. If the input position is in the desired position of the cursor displayed on the image screen of a display 5, the values of the coordinates Xi, Yi of the desired start point position is inputted by pushing the electronic pen. The signal to set and add the value of the start point Yi of the vertical reference line by the software with the value Xi held intact and at the same time to color the dot corresponding to the calculated value in the color different from the color of the other part until the value Yi attains the value larger than the desired set value is outputted to the display 5 and the vertical reference line is displayed.</p> |
