PURPOSE:To assure the reliability and service life of compressor regardless of the ambinet air temperature by providing a thermostat that detects the refrigerant temperature on the refrigerant delivery side of the compressor, and stopping said compressor and electrifying the electric heater for a hot water reservoir tank by means of said thermostat. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of refrigerant gas delivered by the compressor 1 becomes lower than the predetermined value during the hot water supply operation, the contact points 41 of thermostat 21 are opened, an auxiliary relay 49 is de-energized to cause the contact point 49a to open to shut off the pump motor circuit 34 and compressor motor circuit 35, and the relay 37 for blower fan is de-energized to switch the contact point 37a to the (b) side to shut off the blower fan motor circuit 36 and to de-electrify the coil 38. At the same time, the contact point 49a is closed to cause the heater circuit 33 to be activated and to electrify the electric heater 19. When the hot water temperature in the hot water reservoir tank 7 becomes the predetermined value of the thermostat 20, the contact point 39a is switched to the (a) side to be- activate the auxiliary relay 50 and activate the auxiliary relay 54 to close the contact point 54a. When the temperature is further increased to the predetermined value of the thermostat 60, the contact points 55 are opened to shut off the heater circuit 33 to de-active the electric heater 19. |
