PURPOSE:To make the output of the array laser uniform by forming the monolithic structure in which each laser element corresponds to each photo detecting element and installing the photo shielding part which prevents for the neighboring laser beam to reach the photo detecting element not aimed. CONSTITUTION:The output laser beam 17 out of the output laser beams 17 and 18 reaches each photo detecting element though the groove 14, and is taken out in the form of a photo current by the voltage applied between the electrodes 12 and 13. In order to prevent the cross talk between the laser beams 1a, 1b..., the photo shielding parts 4a, 4b... are installed in each place which is between the laser beams 1a, 1b... in each region between the photo detecting elements 2a, 2b..., and in the region of the groove 14. According, the laser beam 1b, for example, never reaches the photo detecting element 2a by the effect of the photo shielding part 4a.
