PURPOSE:To manufacture inexpensively a die used for cold forging and to improve its durability by winding a long reinforcing material around the circumference of a forming member having a hole for forming nuts, etc. CONSTITUTION:A vertically extending hole 11 for inserting a knockout pin is formed at the center of a cylindrical main body 10, and a cylindrical housing part 12 having a housing hole 12a is formed at the upper end face of the body 10. A pedestal 13 having a through hole 13a is forced into the lowerhalf part of hole 12a, and a forming member 15 provided with a forming hole 14 formed into a hexagonal cross section is forced into the upper part and is fixed to the body 10. The member 15 is constituted of segments 16 divided into six. A bobbin 19 consisting of a cylindrical axial part 17 and discoidal flange-parts 18 is inserted to the outer circumference of part 12 and is fixed to the part 12 by the part 17. A long hard wire used as a reinforcing wire 20 is wound around the part 17, and its one end is inserted into a through hole of part 17 and is fixed, and the other end is fixed to the wound outer circumference.
