PURPOSE:To enable the response through a sound signal outputted by a response part in the ringing state by providing a detecting part for detecting call control signal and a response part for outputting a sound signal in accordance with the detecting signal. CONSTITUTION:When a call button is depressed, a call control signal is transmitted from a facsimile equipment and detected in a detecting part 26, and a detecting signal is transmitted to a control part 27. When the detecting signal is inputted to the control part 27, it controls a response part 28 so that a sound signal can be outputted from the response part 28. The sound signal outputted from the response part 28 is amplified by an amplifier circuit 29 and transmitted from a circuit 23 through a facsimile part 21. Thus an operator at the facsimile equipment side can hear the sound signal through a telephone set and knows the operator's destination and an emergency communication destination.
