PURPOSE:To provide stained glass which is fine in pattern, has high strength and permits mass production without requiring skill by forming integrally a frame by casting, and forming the stained glass of such frame as well as honeycomb- shaped panels consisting of flat plate-shaped rails and flanges fixed along both ends of the rails. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 provided with many rails 3a, 3b, 3c- each having an I-shaped section for joining two sheets each of many sheets of glass pieces 2a, 2b- of stained glass consisting of said glass pieces and the frame 1 is integrally formed by casting. Honeycomb-shaped panels consisting of approximately flat plate-shaped rails 3a, 3b, 3c- to be sandwiched between two sheets of the glass pieces adjacent to each other and flanges 4a, 4b, 4c- are fixed along both ends of the rails, by which the stained glass is obtd. The strength is higher and the edging of patterns is slender and finer than the conventional stained glass manufactured by a manual operation using lead wires. The handicraft-like feel is obtd. and the mass production is possible without requiring skill.
