NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R<1> is heterocyclic group which may be substituted with lower alkyl or lower alkoxycarbonyl; R<2> is H, halogen or nitro; R<3> is carboxyl or its derivative; when R<1> is unsubstituted furyl or unsubstituted pyridyl and R<2> is H, then R<3> is derivative of carboxyl group). EXAMPLE:2-[3-(3-Thienyl)acrylamido]benzoic acid. USE:A hyaluronidase activity inhibiting agent. A remedy and preventive for allergic diseases. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be prepared e.g. by converting the R<3a> group of the compound of formula II (R<3a> is derivative of carboxyl group) to carboxyl, or reacting the compound of formula III or its reactive derivative at the carboxyl group with the compound of formula IV or its reactive derivative at the amino group.
