PURPOSE:The titled composition for preventing contamination, corrosion, etc., comprising PVA and a surface active agent, forming a film by applying it to glass, metal plate, plywood, etc., strippable easily only by immersing it in water when stain is attached to them. CONSTITUTION:10-20wt% aqueous solution of PVA is blended with preferably 0.06-0.1wt% surface active agent (preferably aqueous solution of soap, nonionic or anionic surface active agent). The blend is optionally mixed with a colorant such as dye, etc., to give the desired composition.
