PURPOSE:A composition useful as thin molded articles such as rainwater pipes, deck materials, etc., having low coefficient of linear expansion, improved physical properties such as impact resistance, etc., obtained by blending a vinyl chloride resin with gypsum fibers, chlorinated PE, etc. as an improver for increasing adhesivity of vinyl chloride resin to gypsum fibers. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin (especially preferably PVC) is blended with (B) 5-70pts.wt. gypsum fibers (preferably gypsum fibers having 100-200mu diameter, whose surface is treated with a coupling agent such as epoxysilane, etc.), (C) 5-20pts.wt. improver selected from chlorinated PE, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ABS, and MBS, and preferably (D) 1-5pts.wt. one or more processing auxiliaries of MAS and PMMA. More preferably the above- mentioned amounts of the components A, C, and D are blended with 5-50pts.wt. component B, (E) 5-30pts.wt. glass beads (preferably glass beads having 50- 100mu, whose surface is treated similarily to with the component B), or especially preferably 10-50pts.wt. calcium carbonate (preferably calcium carbonate having <=0.1mu particle diameter, whose surface is treated with an organic acid salt, etc.).
