PURPOSE:To provide a printing head in which short-circuiting is prevented from occurring due to a heat-radiating plate or a rear casing and it is unnecessitated to apply a label for indicating ''Be care of high temperatures'', wherein a rear casing of a wire dot printing head is formed from an electrically insulating heat- transmitting resin material. CONSTITUTION:The printing head 1' is constructed by integrally coupling an outer edge bent part 2A of a front casing 2 and an outer edge part 13A of the rear casing 13 to each other by adhesion or the like. An armature 3 fitted with a printing wire 4 at one end thereof is movably provided in the interior of the front casing 2, and a wire guide 5A is fitted to an end part 5 of the casing 2. The rear casing 13 is provided in a U-shaped form from an electrically insulating heat-radiating resin material, and fin form projections 9 are provided at an outer peripheral part thereof. A core 9 with a coil 8 wound therearound is provided in the interior of the casing 13. An indication sign of ''Be care of high temperatures'' 14 is integrally molded on the back face of the rear casing 13, whereby it is unnecessitated to apply any label. |
