PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance useful as a hardener of polyurethane resin, easily, enabling the control of the molecular weight, by reacting a specific diisocyanate compound such as alkylene diisocyanate, in the presence of a specific isocyanuration catalyst. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of diisocyanate compound selected from the group of alkylene diisocyanate, cycloalkylene diisocyanate and aralkylene diisocyanate is reacted in the presence of 50-2,000ppm of an isocyanuration catalyst of formula (R1, R2 and R3 are 1-10C hydrocarbon group or hydrocarbon group containing heteroatom such as N, O, S, etc.; at least two of R1, R2 and R3 may be bonded together; R4 is H, 1-20C hydrocarbon group, etc.; R5, R6 and R7 are H or 1-20C hydrocarbon group) to obtain the objective compound containing isocyanurate ring and having a molecular weight of 500-1,200. |
