SHAFT POWER SUPPLYING AND PRESSING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To save power consumption by low impedance and make the device compact in the shaft power supply and pressing device of a portable spot welding gun by providing a power supply connecting device interlocked with reciprocal movement of the piston rod of a pressing cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A power supply sleeve 15 is inserted into an opening at the end of a hollow cylinder casing 12, and a piston rod 17 is inserted into the sleeve 15 in electrically insulated state respectively. A power supply connecting device such as a power supply ring 26 etc. is inserted between a power receiving board 25 fixed to the piston rod 17 and a piston 20 that slightly moves the piston rod 17. Electrical connection and release between inner face of the power supply sleeve 15 and power receiving board 25 is made by the power supply connecting device that can move relating to movement of the pressing cylinder 4. By this constitution, the length of secondary circuit such as welding energizing etc. is shortened, and power saving by low impedance is effected, and the device can be made light and compact.
