PURPOSE:To attain copying in a desired range only by inputting a range to be copied and comparing the range with a moving distance of the device. CONSTITUTION:When a part is desired to be copied for a prescribed interval only, the prescribed interval is inputted from a key group 52. A CPU30 subtracts the movement of the device from a setting value based on the setting of the movement and displays the result on a numeric display device 53. Then the moving setting value and the movement are compared in this case and when the movement is equal to the setting value or over, the copy is stopped. Since the range desired to be copied is inputted to the device in advance, the region desired to be copied is copied easily.
