PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition obtained by compounding a resin with a specific cyclic phosphorus compound which can be dispersed and mixed uniformly in said resin, and having remarkably improved discoloration resistance, rigidity and low-temperature impact strength. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin is compounded with 0.01-1pt., preferably 0.05-0.5pt. of a cyclic phosphorus compound of formula (R1, R2 and R3 are 1-6C alkyl or H). The polyolefin resin is preferably polypropylene resin, and the above components are compounded together by melting and kneading at 150-300 deg.C, preferably 180-250 deg.C.
