PURPOSE:An anti-inflammatory pressure-sensitive adhesive plaster for preventing flare, rash, etc. caused by a pressure-sensitive adhesive base, showing anti-inflammatory actions on inflammations resulting from other causes, obtained by blending a pressure-sensitive adhesive base with at least one of Aesculas turbinata Blume and Aesculas hippocastanum L. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive adhesive base is blended with at least one of Aesculas turbinate Blume and Aesculas hippocastanum L, preferably dried powder or extract of its bark, to give an anti-inflammatory pressure-sensitive adhesive plaster. An amount of both the components based on the pressure-sensitive adhesive base is preferably 0.2-10wt% in case of powder and 0.05-8wt% in case of extract. By blending Aesculas turbinate BLUME and/or Aesculas hippocastaum L, the plaster not only prevents rash caused by pressure-sensitive adhesive base, but also shows anti-inflammatory action on inflammations resulting from other causes, and becomes a pressure-sensitive adhesive antiphlogistic. The titled plaster may be blended with another antiphlogistic (e.g., salicylic acid derivative, etc.) and a circulation promotor (e.g., capsaicin derivative, etc.).
