PURPOSE:To facilitate the pressing of a connecting wire of an armature coil by bending the top of a connecting piece of each segment of a commutator to form at least a double structure, thereby improving the strength. CONSTITUTION:A segment 21 of a commutator has a sector-shaped brush slide contact piece 2 and a connecting piece 22 stood from the piece 2 and electrically integrated. The top of the piece 22 is bent, and formed in a reversed U-shaped section. A wiring groove 6 to which a connecting wire 8 of an armature coil is intruded is formed at the top.
