PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the thickness of the portions where too- much stretching could occur of a deep-draw press molding by a method in which the portion where too-much stretching could occur and its spherical portion of a synthetic resin sheet being softened by heating are cooled in advance, and the sheet is molded by deep-draw molding. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin sheet 2 softened by heatng is placed on a lower mold 1, and the portion 2' where too-much stretching could occur when deep-draw molded and its spherical portion of the sheet 2 are cooled in advance by a cooling gas blown out of blow nozzles 4 and 4' to slightly and locally harden the sheet 2 softened by heating. The sheet 2 is lowered onto the upper mold 3 and molded by deep press molding. |
