PURPOSE:To continually hold a minimum speed, by preventing a tension pulley from moving in the direction tensioning a belt to a fixed limit or more. CONSTITUTION:A swivel arm 7 mounting a tension pulley 6 mounts a lever 20 through rods 16, 19, and the rods 16, 19 provide a cylinder 17 and a piston 18 which adapt a spring 23 acting only when it is extended. In this way, a minimum speed can be always held because the tension pulley 6, if a V-belt 5 is loosened by its wearing, moves in the direction of an arrow head D by elastic tension of a spring 15 but the tension pulley 6, if it moves to a certain extent, is stopped moving in the direction of the arrow head D by the piston 18 colliding against the bottom of the cylinder 17 of the rod 16. |
