PURPOSE:To obtain coloring matter efficient in friction-resistance and water- resistance, by a method wherein a specific azo dye is used as a coloring matter and it is printed on the paper containing transition metal compounds of Cu, Zn, Cr, Co, Ni by heating transfer. CONSTITUTION:When heating transfer is carried out on the paper containing not less than one grades of metals such as Cu, Zn, Cr, Co, Ni by using the dye given in the formula, strongly colored painting can be obtained (wherein, D expresses the aromatic diazo component which has no sulfonic group and may have been substituted. X expresses the hydroxy group, low grade alkoxy group, carboxyl group and low grade alkoxy carbonyl group, K expresses the aromatic coupling component which has no sulfonic acid group and may have been substituted and the OH group connected to K is positioned at a ortho position to azo coupling). The content of those transition metal compound to the paper should preferably be 0.1% and over to 1% incl, in metal content. In the case of using the azo dye in which the diazo component is benzene ring having hydroxy group or carboxyl group and the coupling component is beta-naphthol ring, clear coloring can be obtained. |
