PURPOSE:To get a lead storage battery provided with both excellent impact resistance and stiffness by forming a battery jar using ABC resin containing polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:A battery jar for a lead storage battery is formed by using material of ABC resin containing polycarbonate resin of 20-50%. The storage battery with this battery jar has impact resistance with degree of not being destroyed when it drops on the concrete. And also, because it has excellent stiffness, it is proof against insertion load of electrode groups in the battery jar, furthermore it does not cause pressure deformation, thermal deformation or expansion. |
