PURPOSE:To enable measurement without transferring any of light source lamps and reagent strip by lighting simultaneously the light source lamps for monochromatic light and calculating and displaying automatically respective component values when the reagent strip is immersed into a liquid to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:A measuring switch 56 is pushed simultaneously when a reagent strip 30 is immersed into a liquid to be inspected. A timer 57 starts operating at the same instant. The optimum time to measure the chromaticity of the reagent is set in the timer. Light source lamps 45 for monochromatic light are lighted via a gate 58 upon lapse of each prescribed time. The light emitted from the lamps 45 is reflected on a corresponding reagent carrier 31 and is photoelectrically converted by a photodetector 47. The signal from the photodetector 47 is inputted via a gate 59, an amplifier 60 and an A/D converter 61 to a relational calculator 62. The input values and reference values are relationally calculated in the calculator 62 in which the reference values of the reflected current corresponding to the chromaticity for various component amts. are inputted. The measured values are thus calculated and are displayed on a display part 36. |
