<p>PURPOSE:To prevent torque from abruptly rising by securing the base parts of plural arcuated and curved branch sections of a leaf spring, corresponding to plural concentric annular pieces of an armature which are formed by dividing the latter, to a support member in a leaf spring for an electromagnetic coupling device so that spring loads of the branch sections are made different from each other. CONSTITUTION:A leaf spring 1 has arcuated and curved branch sections 1A, 1B, 1C, respectively confronting three concentric annular pieces 2, 3, 4 of an armature A which are obtained by dividing the latter, and the branch sections 1A, 1B, 1C are integrally incorporated together at the base section 1D of the leaf spring 1. This leaf spring 1 is supported to an input pulley 5 by securing the base section 1D to the input pulley 5. With this arrangement the magnetic absorptions of the concentric annular pieces 2, 3, 4 may be possible with differences in time, thereby it is possible to prevent torque from abruptly rising and to transmit damped torque.</p> |
